A consistently fabulous cheese. Sweet and incredibly creamy, the flavour is mild compared to the drier Gorgonzola Piccante. The recipe is thousands of years old, this particular Gorgonzola is true to its origin and is made in Piedmont. The cheese is aged for 2-4 months after being pierced with long copper needles to facilitate the distribution of the mould. It is spectacular on a cheese board, and can also be used in pasta sauces or gnocchi. |
