These infused olive oils are delicious, they come from a small family run estate that still produces according to traditional practise which has been handed down five generations. The estate dates from 1825 and is not far from Lecce in the village of Lizzanello (meaning oak tree in the local dialect). The olives used come from the Ogliarole & Cellina di Nardo varieties which are hand picked each year between November and January and later stone pressed.
